The great thing about always investing in Intelligence is that you'll get two Skill points rather than one whenever you level up. You can reach 30+ in your other Attributes through Elixirs anyway. This means that on the longer term it's a waste to invest Attribute points in anything other than Intelligence. This is important, because it means that you can keep leveling your Attributes (aside from Intelligence) independently from your character experience! Although Qualis gems are relatively hard to get, the supply is virtually unlimited and in a serious game you'll surely gain a great number of them. Drinking an Elixir gives your character +2 in every Attribute except for Intelligence and also gives +20 to all your weapon proficiencies. The most important factor to consider is the possibility to trade Qualis gems for Elixirs through the book merchant Finneas the Digit. In most other mods and Native I usually don't strive for perfect stats because it makes the game too easy, but PoP is in my opinion challenging enough to make this acceptable. This is a little guide showing you what I think is the perfect character build, and with perfect I mean the most effective on the longer term.
When playing my first character in Prophesy of Pendor I eventually regretted my character build due to unique features.
